Here is a photo of the very first benchwork
for the new railroad. This view is looking at what will be the
business district of Willis, along with the Illinois Central
mainline running the length of what you see here. That line
will disappear into hidden staging tracks curving to the left and
right respectively. The Louisiana Central mainline running up
to the Town of Bude, Mississippi (un-modeled) will cross the IC
track and disappear into a staging track lead hidden behind the
businesses that will line up along the back wall. If you look
at the track plan, this is the area running along the right side of
the drawing.
