This view is from the far end of the staging
track that was seen curving to the left in the previous photo.
It levels out about midway in this run. Two other tracks will
also extend out along this subway, both belonging to the Illinois
Central Railroad. The I.C. trains will make an appearance
twice a day, once from each direction. All three of these
tracks will be hidden under the hills on which the Spencer Lumber
Company will be running. I've also started running the track
bus wiring. You can see a bit of it running along the L-girder
beneath the subroadbed.
