And here's the view looking from inside the
alcove back toward the main room. The joists in the foreground
are thicker because of the long cantilever at this place in the
benchwork. I'm hoping to save a leg and bracing by doing
this. That benchwork at the right, barely visible beneath all
the clutter, is the second of the two peninsulas, and will be the
last section of the layout to receive roadbed and track. I
wonder what I'll do with all that stuff when construction starts
there? |
